What do you spend the most time doing in the place where you work?          

I tend to divide my time between research, the physicality of making the work, backing up my hard drives and later using the work to apply for grants and competitions.

What was the first piece of art that really mattered to you?

Eine Kleine Nachtmusik by Dorothea Tanning.

What is your favourite title of an artwork?        

Too many to choose just one!

If you could be anyone for one day, who would you be?      

A scuba diver, or a ranger in a safari park.

What music are you listening to?           

Yussef Dayes, Freddie Gibbs, Lady Pank.

What are you reading? 

Working my way through Olga Tokarczuk novels.

What cheers you up?   

Ice cream, being outside and being able to look up at the sky.

What needs to change?

Capitalism and inequality.

If you were interviewing a fellow artist, what question would you ask them? 

How do you manage to make money from your work.

What could you imagine doing if you didn’t do what you do?             

Teaching English as a foreign language (as that’s what I used to do in my previous career)
